Here are some funny bumper stickers. Many of them have religious overtones (since it is the Xmas Season):

Jesus Saves Sinners...And redeems them for valuable coupons!

Jesus saves but Moses invests

My Wife Thinks I'm at PromiseKeepers

God told me to hate you

I'd rather be dead, than Red. [picture of blue/red America]

"A working class person who votes Republican is like a chicken who votes for Colonel Sanders."

"My Karma Ran Over My Dogma."

Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups

Mean people suck, but nice people swallow

"No, YOU suck -- sincerely, the Mean People"

"Visualize Parking."

"One nation under surveillance"

"Protect the Constitution- Vote Democratic"

"Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and good with ketchup."

Will you be a Weaver of the fabric of our Democracy, or will you be a Moth?

In the event of the Rapture, can I have your car?

You can safely assume that you've created God in your own image when it turns out that God hates all the same people you do.

Democrats: We believe in fiscal, economic, social, civic, personal, and moral responsibility. Republicans: We take risks with your future.

Get out of your damn SUV and join the Army! That's how you can support the troops.

TWD, those are great. I had the one about honor students and Bush's tax cut on my car for a while. My current bunch includes an American flag, and ones that say "Dissent is patriotic", "I don't have to like Bush to love America", and (my favorite) "Republicans for Voldemort"! (For all you Harry Potter fans out there!)
I also have decals on my side windows of Itchy and Scratchy, a punk face with a mohawk, and baby Stewie from Family Guy (although those probably don't count as being "political".)

I'm not into bumper-stickering up my car, but I'm floating this idea for a bumper sticker:

"A far-left activist is someone who gets ice cream for a handout and then bitches about the headache."

Maybe it's not succinct enough though.

I do like this one though:

"Get out of your damn SUV and join the Army! That's how you can support the troops."

Myself, I'm just waiting for my backdoor draft notice to come, seeing as they're already calling up 70 year-old retirees for the 'Stan.

I love these -- especially the "You can safely assume that you created God in your own image when he hates everyone you do." Sums up the religious split in America quite nicely (from all faiths).

How's this one--
"Being Right is Wrong"
I think it has a future.

Nothing to do with this post but I ran into some of your replies to posts made at CBFTW's blog ( and I wanted to come over and tell you that your writing is some of the most eloquent and well-put-together I have read in a very long time.

Not only that, but you have opened my eyes to many things and many of your statements have been able to successfully describe my personal feelings towards this country, the government and the current situation we are in as a nation; something that, although slowly, I have been getting exceedingly good at.

I especially appreciate your thoughts because you have served our country and that says a lot about you.

Recently, I found the blog of an active service member. He wrote about how he is being deployed for a second tour after the holidays which he plans on spending with his family and described the transition he's going to from civilian to soldier as awareness of his imminent deployment sinks in. Then, he made a comment that struck a chord; "I know this for certain; they [his family] don’t appreciate this war." Knowing that he is an obviously family-centered guy, I felt compelled to leave a comment on his entry, which was not well received -not by him- but by the readers of his site. I tried to the best of my ability to express my gratitude and admiration for him, his dedication and sacrifice but while writing about this, I felt rage come over me when I thought about how unfair this situation is for all parties involved.

As an American-by-choice, I would have loved to serve the country that opened its doors to me and gave me everything I have today and I feel especially grateful for the sheer will of others to make the ultimate sacrifice to protect and defend it. As such, the blatant disregard of this sacrifice by the current administration has made my gratefulness mix with frustration and hopelessness.

As a man of reason and thought, I am sure he understood my comment while the rest of his readers labeled it as back-handed.

Apparently, people don't understand how you can feel utter respect and admiration for our service men and women while at the same time disapproving of this war.

Your writing has helped me understand how to express and come to terms with this while at the same time, make better sense of it all. I had to come here and thank you personally so: Thank you.

I’ll be keeping an eye on your blog. At one point, I had a Blogger blog but ditched it for a self hosted one which can be found at

As hard as it is for a naturally argumentative person as myself, I try to keep politics out of the blog so you may not find much to be of interest. I try to avoid politics because I find it exhausting to deal with people that don’t agree with me which is something I definitely have to work on. Blogging about it may be a good place to start.
